Sakarya University Faculty of Medicine held the first graduation ceremony.Sakarya Governor Hüseyin Avni Coş, President of SAU Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas, Vice President Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yalçın, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Ramazan Akdemir, Director of Health Family and Social Work Commission Necdet Ünüvar, The Justice and Development Party Parliamentarian Ali İhsan Yavuz, academicians, students and parents attended the graduation ceremony which was organized at SAU Faculty of Medicine Conference Hall.
Governor Hüseyin Avni Coş stated that they would provide support to make the faculty an outstanding institution.
President Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas emphasized that 220 of 73,000 students study at Faculty of Medicine and this fact is important. Prof. Dr. Elmas said “When we look at our peers or compare ourselves with them, we fill the gaps in a very short time since we are assertive about this issue. We never give up. In accordance with our mission, our university is in an endeavor. Congratulations to all the graduates.”
Following the speeches, Serpil Mansız, the valedictorian of the faculty received her prize from Governor Hüseyin Avni Coş, Ali İnaltekin who has ranked second received his prize from Director of Health Family and Social Work Commission Necdet Ünüvar and Burcu Aydoğan who has ranked third received her prize from Sakarya Member of Parliament.
