Introduced for the first time by Sakarya University in Turkey, vocational school students are provided with 3 +1 practical training model and they have practical knowledge and skills rather than raw knowledge. The practical training model that started in Vocational Schools is being implemented in faculties with the name of 7 +1 UMDE (Applied Engineering Experience Training). In this way, the students who take adequate theoretical education in the school receive practical training in the institutions they go to in their last semester and get the practical skills required by their field by seeing the business life on the spot.
