Ökten gave information about the perception of civilization on community, and said “There are different views about civilization in our society. Some people say that it is a monster, and others praise to the skies. The important thing is what we gain from the civilization.”

Ökten said “Mathematics is the basic element of science. However, mathematics is not needed for philosophy. There is no need after all. Modern civilization is formed by science which depends on mathematics and by philosophy which does not need mathematics at all.”
