Evaluation of 2011

Performances of academic units were evaluated in a meeting as part of Sakarya University (SAU) Total Quality System.

Rector Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yalçın, Prof. Dr. Musa Eken, Prof. Dr. Fatih Üstel, deans and vocational school directors attended the meeting.

The core topics discussed in the meeting were the goals of faculties and schools for 2011 and the facts about to what extend these goals were accomplished.

It is the first in the field

Performance evaluations have been done since 2004. However, this year there was a slight difference, and the results were shared with all directors.

This kind of performance evaluations are hold in many universities. It is worth emphasizing that Sakarya University has developed software to conduct these studies more effectively. Thanks to this software, all units upload necessary data and easily get the reports automatically. In addition, the software let the units measure their performances by making comparison with other faculties.
