Collaboration with Leeds Metropolitan University

An informative meeting about undergraduate and graduate education was held with attendance of Sakarya University and Leeds Metropolitan University.

Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas, President of Sakarya University, informed the delegation from Leeds Metropolitan University about undergraduate and graduate education.

Thanks to the program which is carried out first in Turkey, students can have a diploma of Leeds Metropolitan University through Sakarya University Continuing Education Centre (SAUSEM).

Based on the collaboration agreement between Sakarya University and Leeds Metropolitan University, students study in Associate Degree Programs in English for two years at SAU Campus. Students who completed program successfully can study one more year based on the curriculum of Leeds Metropolitan University and they can obtain Bachelor Degree diploma of Leeds Metropolitan University. Students can complete this education period in Sakarya University or in England.

Students who want to study in Bachelor Degree programs complete two years in SAU. They can study in English or Turkish. After completing two years successfully, student can study the third year based on the curriculum of Leeds Metropolitan University. Students can complete this education period in Turkey or in England. Students who completed program successfully have chance to get diploma of Leeds Metropolitan University.

As part of the program, students who want to study in Master’s Degree programs can have a diploma of Leeds Metropolitan University after studying in English in Sakarya University or England.
