Betül Lost Her Fight for Life

Betül Öztürk, a student at SAU Department of Chemistry, passed away after a traffic accident happened in Serdivan. 

Betül Öztürk who was a 3rd year student at Sakarya University Department of Chemistry was badly injured in bus accident on May 8. She was taken to Sakarya University Education and Research Hospital.

Öztürk stayed in intensive care unit 5 days but she passed away today (13 May 2014). The death deeply saddened her family, friends and the university.
President of Sakarya University Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas expressed his condolences. He said “We are sorry for our loss, Betül Öztürk. We condole with her family and friends for our student.”
