SAU Receives a Prestigious Award

Sakarya University has received “The Most Contributor University Award”.

Sakarya University has won the award in the Innovation Week organized by Turkish Exporters Assembly for the first time this year with the aim of focusing on the importance of innovation and supporting innovative studies.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Economy Zafer Çağlayan and a great number of guests attended “Turkey Innovation Week” held in İstanbul Congress Centre on Thursday, December 6.

Sakarya University has received the award as making contributions to R&D project market in 7 sectors and conducting the R&D projects within university-industry collaboration in 2012.

SAU Rector Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas received the award from Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
