Holy Birth Program in SAU

Sakarya University Faculty of Theology organizes a program with the theme of ‘Prophet Muhammad, Religion and Sincerity’ as part of Holy Birth Week.

Vice President Prof. Dr. Musa Eken, Dean of Faculty of Theology Hacı Mehmet Günay, Dean of Faculty of Technology Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarıbıyık, Mufti İlyas Serenli, academicians and students attended the program which was held at SAU Culture and Congress Centre.

In his opening speech, Mufti Serenli said “I wish a great Holy Birth program which is conducive for commemorating and understanding Prophet Muhammad.”

Dean of Faculty of Theology Günay expressed his gratitude for organizing the program second time in the campus and broad participation.

After opening speech, Sait Ali Çakıcı, student from Faculty of Theology, read the Quran. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hayati Yılmaz, Faculty Member in Faculty of Theology, gave a speech titled “Religion is sincerity” and students from Faculty of Theology read ‘Kaside-I Bürde.’

The event ended with Sufi Concert.
